Stir fried pork with ginger

Thai stir fries are quick and easy to prepare, so are perfect for those looking to create a simple yet delicious meal in a hurry. They are full of the flavours and aromas of Thai cuisine, garlic, ginger, chilli, soy and oyster sauces.  Ready in minutes, you can enjoy a tasty Thai stir fry for lunch or dinner or as an  accompaniment to any meal.

Serves 2


Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp Thai Taste Rice Bran Oil
  • 1 tsp Thai Taste Garlic
  • 2 tsp Thai Taste Shallots
  • 300g fillet of pork, sliced
  • 3 tbsp Thai Taste Ginger
  • 50g mushrooms, cut into pieces
  • 1 green chilli, sliced diagonally
  • 2 tsp Thai Taste Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Thai Taste Oyster Sauce
  • 1-2 tsp Thai Taste Palm Sugar
  • 2 spring onions, cut into strips

Instructions:

  • Stir fry the garlic in oil until golden.
  • Add the pork and shallots and stir fry until brown.
  • Add the ginger, mushrooms and chilli.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, palm sugar and oyster sauce.
  • Allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes and then serve. Garnish with the spring onions.

Tip:

You  may substitute the pork with chicken, beef, prawns or chopped vegetables.
