Day 2 - Costa Smeralda
Today, we'll explore the captivating Emerald Coast. With miles of picture-perfect bays, it's no wonder that the elite choose this region for their holidays year after year. Take a stroll around Porto Cervo, a charming town with its two bustling ports, a haven for yachts that hint at grand adventures. Why not enjoy a short walk to the small, white-coloured Stella Maris. Surrounded by luxury villas and home to art treasures perfectly preserved inside, this unique and unassuming church stands in perfect harmony with the landscape.
Founded about 50 years ago are the pretty areas along Costa Smeralda. We'll stop at Baja Sardinia where you'll find shops, bars and restaurants centred around a small square close to beautiful white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. On our return to the hotel, we'll make one final stop at the charming village of San Pantaleo. Dating back to 800AD, you'll discover stone buildings sitting along quiet roads in the shadow of towering granite mountains. B,D

A short boat trip will take you to the Neptune’s Grotto. On a guided tour of these limestone caves, you'll see the small saltwater lake, La Marmora, surrounded by stunning stalactites before uncovering the secrets of other rooms within the cave complex.
Later, we'll head to Castelsardo. Split into two distinct areas - the old town and Castle sit high upon the hill and the new town that has spread down towards the coast. With beautiful views of the harbour and city below, the old town is a delight to explore. B,D
