We work diligently to create menus that typify the cuisine of the destinations you are visiting.We research a wide range of dining venues to find the right restaurants offering authentic local cuisine and special dining experiences.All of the dinners included in our itineraries are multi-course and offer a choice to cater for most preferences.

Sightseeing & Excursions

Many of our excursions are once in a lifetime experiences or the ‘must-sees’ of the region. We think it is important to embrace the local customs and traditions of the destinations visited so we include unique trips such as home hosted dinners in certain regions. The character and charm of every destination is reflected in the extras we include in our tours. These excursions are already included in the holiday price quoted and are not offered as expensive pre-bookable options as with other tour operators. Tour Managers

Our Tour Managers are Collette employees who are fully trained to ensure you get the maximum satisfaction from your holiday. They accompany you for the entire tour and will provide information on everything and anything including travel tips, restaurant recommendations and on where to shop for those all important souvenirs, as well as information on local traditions and historical anecdotes.

Extended Hotel Stays

Tour Pacing

Our Tour Pacing (1 - 5) is featured on each tour itinerary page. The definition of each activity level is listed here.We recommend packing comfortable walking shoes, so you are able to fully enjoy every aspect of your holiday with us. Level 1: A very leisurely paced tour which involves minimal physical activity, such as climbing some steps or boarding a coach, as well as walking from the hotel reception area to hotel rooms and dining areas. Level 2: This tour requires average physical activity.You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestone streets. Level 3: This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends longer and shorter days, and more leisure time.Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up steps or on uneven walking surfaces should be expected. Level 4: To truly experience the tour and destination, you need to be able to participate in physical activities such as longer walking tours, walking over uneven terrain, climbing steps and be comfortable with periods of standing. Some of the touring days may be longer, with some included activities occurring later in the evening. Level 5: This tour is very active, requiring participants to be physically fit to fully enjoy all of the experiences.This itinerary has more strenuous activities which may include: extensive walking tours, transfers over uneven and dusty terrain, travel at high altitudes, early morning departures, late night activities, or significant changes in climate/temperature.All conditions do not apply to all days, so please read the itinerary carefully and speak to one of our travel experts at time of booking to determine if this tour is suitable for you.We recommend this tour to individuals who are physically fit.
