Day 1 - London to Zurich

Your scenic journey to Italy starts in London, where you will board the Eurostar and speed under the English Channel to Paris. Day 2 - The Bernina Express to Italy

Today you'll take one of the world's most scenic journeys - the Bernina Express! Travel through the Alps on a scenic journey from Zurich to Chur, where you will pick up the panoramic train. The tracks of the Bernina Express have now been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the journey will meander through snow-dusted mountain ranges, across striking stone viaducts and along the banks of some of Switzerland's sparkling lakes. At Tirano, connect onto the Trenord train and roll past Lake Como en route to Milan. Check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and enjoy a tasty Milanese dinner! (Overnight in Milan)  B

Day 3 - Venice

After breakfast, make the pleasant journey from Milan to Venice by rail, enjoying views of the Italian countryside as you go. Overnight in Venice) B

Day 5 - Venice

Spend an additional day discovering all that Venice has to offer. Fascinating museums, exquisite art galleries and ornate churches await! Be sure to leave some time to take a tour of the famous glassblowers on the island of Murano and stopover at Burano, a small island famous for lace and its colorful houses. (Overnight in Venice) B

Check out of your hotel after breakfast and finish off any last exploring before making your way to the airport and flying back home to London.
