Day 2 - Singapore

Day 3 - Tour of Ubudiah Mosque, Kuala Kangsar
After breakfast in your hotel this morning, enjoy more of Singapore's sights before being transferred to the train station to begin your journey on the Eastern & Oriental Express. After being welcomed aboard the gold and green-liveried carriages, settle into your compartment as the train enters Malaysia and journeys through the picturesque landscape. Lunch is served before arriving in Kuala Kangsar for your guided tour of this fascinating royal town. You'll visit the Ubudiah Mosque, the Royal Museum of Perak and the Sultan Shah Gallery. After the tour, return to the train, perhaps visiting the observation car before another spectacular dinner. (Overnight on the Eastern & Oriental Express) B, L, D
Day 4 - Guided cruise along River Kwai
After a delicious breakfast on board, the train arrives at River Kwai Bridge Station, where you will disembark for a river cruise on board a local raft. During the cruise, a local historian provides a brief overview of the history of the Thailand-Burma railway and the bridge. Disembark for a visit to the Thailand Burma Railway Centre and, for those who wish, the Don Rak War Cemetery. Day 5 - Arrive Bangkok
Arrive in Bangkok today and bid farewell to the train. Transfer from the station to your hotel for a two-night stay. Set out to explore this vibrant city, perhaps enjoying dinner at one of the fine restaurants the city is known for, or visiting one of the many rooftop bars for spectacular drinks and 360 degree views of the glittering skyline. (Overnight in Bangkok)
Day 6 - Bangkok
After breakfast this morning, spend the day exploring Bangkok at your leisure. Perhaps visit the iconic Wat Arun temple, with its towering spires and glazed porcelain façade. Later in the day, head to Chinatown Market for the city's best tasting and most reasonably priced cuisine. (Overnight in Bangkok) B
Day 7 - Depart Bangkok
After a final breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and make your way to the airport for your flight back to London. B
