Day 1 - UK/Paris/Meudon
Your journey to Paris couldn't be easier as you step aboard the Eurostar in London St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet, arriving in little more than two hours. Transfer to your hotel in Meudon.
Day 2 - Versailles
Your sightseeing begins as you join your Tour Manager for an included excursion to the magnificent formal gardens of Versailles. Covering some 800 hectares, it's impossible to see it all today but you've plenty of time to soak up the beauty of the world's most famous gardens.
Day 3 - Giverny
You're going to spend a full day in Giverny, where the artist Claude Monet lived from 1883 until his death in 1926. That gives you plenty of time to explore his house and, one of the highlights of your tour,his beautiful gardens. Take in sights he captured on canvas so many times, including the Japanese-style water garden, and take a walk over the pretty green footbridge. As you admire the water lilies floating below you, Monet's most famous paintings will be brought to life.
Day 4 - Chambord and Blois
Today we journey southwards through the French countryside to Blois, in the very heart of the Loire Valley. On the way we call at the magnificent Chateau du Chambord.
Day 5- Chateau of Villandry
We're going to head through the stunning Loire Valley on today's excursion, which takes us to the Chateau of Villandry. You'll find a surprise around every corner as you explore the manicured ornamental gardens, which have been restored to their original Renaissance splendour. On our return journey we'll stop for a strollaround medieval Chinon, where winding streets and half-timbered houses sit in the shadow of a sprawling castle.
Day 6 - Chateau Chenonceau
Chateau Chenonceau, which occupies a unique setting spanning the River Cher, is famed as one of the Loire Valley's most impressive chateaux. See if you agree during your visit today. As you explore its formal gardens, which sit at an elevated position, you'll be able to see the chateau in all its glory, plus the surrounding countryside. Your sightseeing continues in the charming town of Amboise, nestled on the banks of the Loire River and one-time home to Leonardo da Vinci. As you head off to explore, be sure to find hishouse, it's a must-see
Day 7 - Blois/UK
Today you'll head to Paris by coach, then take the Eurostar back to London St Pancras or Ebbsfleet.
