Tonight, visit an AMISH FAMILY and their farm, where you will learn more about their faith, culture, and traditional way of life that excludes the use of modern conveniences, such as electricity and telephones. You’ll have the chance to visit the barn, see their miniature horses, learn about their homemade quilts and crafts, and enjoy a delicious dinner. (B,D)

“Golden Horseshoe” of Lake Ontario and through vineyards and rich farmlands to Toronto, the cosmopolitan provincial capital. (B)
NOTE: Operation of the Niagara Falls sightseeing cruise is subject to favourable weather and/or river conditions. Favourable conditions usually exist from May to November. When conditions are unfavourable, a walking tour through the scenic tunnels will be substituted.

(B)

Day 8: Toronto - Ottawa.

Drive east into Ottawa, the country’s beautiful capital. On a guided tour, you’ll see the Canadian Mint, residences of the Governor General and Prime Minister, the hexagonal National Arts Centre, Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, and the stately residences. Day 10: Montreal - Quebec City.

Today, continue east to Québec City and spend the next two nights in this romantic city located on the banks of the mighty St. Lawrence River. Until the British victory of 1759, Old Québec was the centre of New France, and today is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This evening, why not enjoy regional French cuisine with dinner in Old Town Québec? (B)

Day 11: Quebec City.

Meals: Food and wine tastings, plus traditional meals at local restaurants, help you experience your destination’s
culture through its cuisine. Globus tours always include several meals, each featuring at least one complimentary glass of regional wine, beer, soft drinks, coff ee or tea for an additional taste of local flavour.

Local Favourites: Globus go beyond the excursions off ered by other tour operators and arrange special events and activities
just for Globus guests to get an authentic taste of local life. Whether that’s learning to dance the Viennese waltz in an exclusive lesson in Strauss, or discovering life on a husky farm in Finnish Lapland, see which Local Favorites are included on each tour, just look out for the icons on the holiday pages.
