Eilean Donan Castle & Skye: Picture postcard Eilean Donan Castle is a fairytale fortress located on an island where three sea lochs meet. This iconic monument is surrounded by forested mountains and often features on calendars and shortbread tins. There is a modern visitor centre and within the fortified walls you’ll find period furniture, Jacobean artefacts, fine art and ancient weapons. Afterwards we enjoy a scenic drive on the Isle of Skye.

Inverewe Gardens & Gairloch Museum: Inverewe Gardens is a lush oasis perched on a peninsula on the shores of Loch Ewe. Dating  from the nineteenth century, the gardens have been created over time and the exotic plants are nurtured by warm currents from the Gulf Stream. We continue to Gairloch Museum, housed in a converted nuclear bunker and showcasing local history, culture and heritage.

Ullapool: A morning visit to this picturesque fishing village on the shores of Loch Broom. The original section of the village is part of Thomas Telford’s design and you’ll find buildings dating back hundreds of years, cottages from its fishing heritage and quaint old churches.
