Day 1

After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.

Day 2 - Eastbourne and Beachy Head 

Our first point of call today is Eastbourne, a bustling seaside resort that has welcomed holidaymakers since Victorian times. There’s plenty to do, from browsing the shops in the town centre, to wandering along the seafront and spending time on the pier. Afterwards, we take a scenic drive along the coast, stopping to admire the spectacular chalk cliffs at Beachy Head. Later we enjoy a traditional ‘Christmas’ dinner with all the trimmings back at the hotel.

Day 3 - Optional excursion to Chichester and Arundel (£11 pp)

Our optional full-day excursion gives us the opportunity to visit two towns in the heart of West Sussex. First up is Chichester, a Roman cathedral city where you can see first-hand evidence of a Roman settlement, from the Roman Baths and the city wall to an old Roman road which links Chichester to London! Next, we head to the picturesque town of Arundel. Nestled around a fairytale castle, the streets are chock-full of cosy tearooms and curious antique shops. Most of the town dates back to Victorian times, while the castle has been home to the Dukes of Norfolk for centuries.

Day 4 - Alfirston and Lewes

Today we visit Alfriston, a charming village located at the foot of the stunning South Downs. In this idyllic setting, we can expect spectacular views as well as a wide range of galleries, cafés, and shops to explore. We then reboard the coach and head to another beautiful village, Lewes. Home to Lewes Castle, a working brewery and beautiful medieval architecture, we can enjoy the relaxed ambiance and maybe even see a horse drawn cart delivering beer passing by!

Day 5 

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
