Each Cosmos Africa safari tour is limited to an average of just 20 guests per departure. There’s always room to roam with extra space between you and other travelers—while still getting up close and personal to the experiences you’ve been dreaming of. Transportation: 4-wheel-drive safari vehicle, between destinations and for game drives, with pop-up roof for easy game viewing and photography. We limit each vehicle to a maximum of six people, ensuring you’ll always have a window seat. 

Meals:  10 breakfasts, 9 lunches, 9 dinners

Bottled water: Included on all game drives and with all meals

Hotels: After a day of traveling, you want to relax at a comfortable, clean, and attractive hotel. We select hotels with the best guestrooms (always with a private bathroom), service, and food for the money.

Nairobi: Tamarind Tree Hotel - Located just 5 kms southwest of the City and easy access to Nairobi, it's national park and other attrictions. This beautiful hotel has lots to offer to make the most of your stay.

Maasai Mara National Reserve: Maasai Mara Sopa Lodge - Set in expansive wooded gardens, the lodge has an ethnic design that incorporates traditional round buildings with thatched roofs and cottage-style guestrooms featuring verandas and ensuite bathrooms.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge: Amboseli Sopa Lodge - Nestled in 190 acres of wooded Maasai land, the lodge sits on the foothills of Africa's highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. Mature wooded gardens with a variety of trees and plants, from thorn trees and acacias, to fragrant frangipanis, colorful bougainvillea and giant cactus plants thrive in these surroundings. Electricity is provided during limited hours: 4:30 am to 9 am, 1 pm to 2 pm & 6 pm to midnight. 24-hour power may be requested for breathing machines.

Lake Manyara National Park Area: Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp - In the middle of the rolling grasslands of Tanzania, against the dramatic angles of the Rift Valley Escarpment and the overlooking Lake Manyara stands The Lake Manyara Wildlife Camp. Accommodations all feature private balconies. The restaurant caters to all tastes and an infinity pool offers great views out to the national park.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area: Marera Valley Lodge - Located close to Karatu, Marera Valley Lodge offers convenient access to Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge has a cozy setting with lovely landscaped gardens overlooking the beautiful Tanzania countryside. The central part of the lodge features a reception room, lounge, and bar overlooking a large swimming pool.

Serengeti National Park: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge - Centrally located adjacent to the famous Western Corridor and Grumeti River, the lodge has been designed to blend completely into the living landscape. A series of traditional domed 'rondavels' are widely spaced throughout the grounds, which are cooled by groves of acacia trees and watered by sparkling streams. On the very edge of the ridge is a 'vanishing horizon' pool, which looks out over the 'endless plains' after which the Serengeti is named. Electricity is provided 24 hours a day.

Cosmos offers 2 air options—Flex Air and Instant Purchase Air. Flex Air allows flexibility if you want to make changes to your vacation schedule. Instant Purchase Air may offer additional airline options but has more restrictions. Some holidays may only offer one Air-type option.

Low Air-Inclusive Prices & Free Airport Transfers

Regardless which air option you choose when you book your  air-inclusive Cosmos holiday, the transfer to and from the airport to your start and end hotel is included (on published departure and return dates). This can be a substantial savings and give you peace of mind. Airport transfers for US and Canada tours will not be included and are not available for purchase.

Land-only holiday clients who make their own air arrangements on regularly scheduled direct or nonstop flights (not chartered flights) into terminals may purchase our airport transfer service.
