Holiday Itinerary Christmas in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight

After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.
Christmas Eve - Bournemouth and the New Forest
Our day begins with a trip to the seaside as we visit the traditional resort of Bournemouth. Boasting seven miles of golden sands and a historic pier, this is the perfect place for a stroll to blow away the cobwebs!
Later, we travel back to the hotel via the idyllic New Forest, England’s smallest National Park, famous for its tranquil ambience and free roaming ponies. We stop en-route in the pretty village of Brockenhurst with its olde-worlde charm, independent shops and quaint cafés.
Christmas Day
Christmas Day is a lovely day of celebration as our hotel provides a hearty Christmas lunch with all the trimmings followed by Christmas cake, tea and coffee plus a light buffet dinner in the evening.
Boxing Day - The Isle of Wight Steam Train
Today we take a ferry across the Solent to the Isle of Wight, where we can soak up the sights and sounds aboard a beautifully restored Victorian steam train. Keep an eye out for red squirrel and dear as we pass through idyllic forests and ancient woodland.
27 December
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
