After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.
Christmas Eve - Island Highlights Tour
Our fantastic Island Highlights tour takes in this unique island’s many famous sights. After Ventnor, a pretty resort built on a series of terraces, we make for Alum Bay. Here we can admire the multi-coloured cliffs and famous chalky outcrop The Needles. We continue on to Newport, regarded as the capital of the Isle of Wight, with a historic quayside and selection of specialty shops.
Christmas Day
Christmas Day is a wonderful day of leisure at our hotel where we indulge in a Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, followed by a light buffet served in the evening.
Boxing Day - Ryde and pantomime
For today’s excursion, we spend some time at leisure in Ryde with its long stretch of golden sand, pretty esplanade, marina and beautiful gardens. Take a stroll along the famous 19th-century pier, the oldest in England, or admire the many boats moored in the town’s busy harbour. In the afternoon, we make our way to Shanklin Theatre for our fun-filled pantomime performance.
27 December
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.

We’ll stay at one of two hotels on the Isle of Wight:
Holliers Hotel, Shanklin
The friendly, family-run Holliers Hotel is an 18th-century coaching inn situated in the heart of the picturesque Old Village of Shanklin. Hotel facilities include a bar and restaurant, and dinners are carvery style.
Please note: the Holliers Hotel has no lift or ground floor rooms and is therefore unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
Channel View Hotel, Sandown
The Channel View Hotel is well located in Sandown, close at hand to the famous sandy beaches, the pier and the attractions of this popular resort. The hotel offers en-suite rooms with TV and tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar, restaurant and comfortable lounges.
