Holiday Itinerary - Krakow Short Break

Day 1: Travel to Poland. Arrive in Krakow

Upon arriving in Krakow, you will be met by our local representative in the airport before being transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Krakow. Guided Walking Tour

Morning: Enjoy a half day walking tour of the magical city of Krakow. Here you will see the main square, visit St. Mary's Church, and explore the Wawel Cathedral.

Afternoon: Enjoy an afternoon at leisure in Krakow. Visit Basztowa street for lunch or take in the city.

Day 3: Zakopane. Excursion to Zakopane

Morning: This morning, depart your hotel for a full day excursion to Zakopane. Known for its unique wooden architecture and charming style of decoration, this popular resort town is located in the Tatrzanski National Park, in the heart of the magnificent Tatra Mountains. On a short guided walk through the centre, visit Krupowki Street and Krzeptowki Sanctuary while taking in the town's folk atmosphere and scenic surroundings. Also included is a short funicular ride to Gublowka hill, where on a clear day you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains. There will be free time for sightseeing, shopping and perhaps sampling some regional specialities for lunch, before transferring back to your hotel in Krakow.

Day 4: At Leisure. Free Time in Krakow

Full Day: Today will be free for shopping and sightseeing of your own choice.

Enjoy a leisurely walk through the historic Jewish Quarter, try some Polish delicacies, including delicious pastries, and of course you can’t leave this city before trying Pierogi ; “Polish dumplings, a must for any visit to Poland! 

There are many places of interest in and around Krakow including Schindler's Factory, Wieliczka Salt Mines, Auschwitz, Birkenau, or a cruise on the Vistula; your guide will be happy to help you book an excursion locally..

Day 5: Return Home. Depart Poland

Depart your hotel to Krakow Airport for your return flight.
