We take a journey back in time to the ancient and picturesque fishing village of Clovelly, where we can venture up and down the cobbled streets, taking in the views across Bideford Bay, or have a beverage at the famous 18th-century Red Lion Inn. Clinging to a 400-foot cliff, Clovelly is famous for being completely vehicle-less, with local supplies being delivered by donkey, sledge or on foot.
Afterwards, we return to the harbour town of Bideford, where we enjoy free time to discover this town’s delightful sights. It’s the perfect place for a spot of retail therapy and a relaxing time outdoors.
