Holiday Itinerary Christmas in Prague
Day 1 UK - Prague
Today, you will fly to the capital of the Czechia, Prague, where we'll transfer you to your hotel which is located a moment's walk from the UNESCO-listed Old Town. Get to know your travelling companions over a welcome drink before dinner this evening. D
Day 2 - Christmas Eve - Prague
Known as the 'Golden City', Prague boasts a stunning array of impressive architecture, a rich history and fascinating traditions. Its centre is compact and easy to explore on foot, and that's what we're going to do this morning. Highlights of our sightseeing tour include the famous Wenceslas Square Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter and the 14th century Charles Bridge, which crosses the Vltava River. We then set off on a lunch cruise on the river, which flows through the heart of the city, before free time this afternoon. Tonight, enjoy a festive Christmas Eve dinner at your hotel. B,L,D
Day 3 - Christmas Day - Prague
After a leisurely breakfast, join today's included excursion to Prague's Castle District. As you explore in the company of your travelling companions you'll see the castle including St Vitus Cathedral and more. This guided walk will take you back to the Old Town for an afternoon at leisure for you to explore further. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. B,D
Day 4 - Boxing Day - Ceský Krumlov
Today we have a full day excursion to Ceský Krumlov in South Bohemia. We will spend the morning in Ceské Budejovice to visit the Christmas markets, then continue on to Krumlov for lunch and an afternoon walking tour of Ceský Krumlov. Dinner at the hotel this evening. B,L,D
Day 5 - Prague at leisure
You can spend today just as you please, relaxing at the hotel or exploring the city at your own pace. However, if you'd like to discover more, we also offer an optional excursion to Kozel Brewery and Kutna Hora. Take the coach transfer to Kozel where you will visit the brewery. Afterwards, continue on to Kutna Hora where we will have lunch before exploring the city with a local city guide, including a visit the gothic church of St Barbara.
Return to the hotel late afternoon for tonight’s farewell dinner at one of Prague’s oldest breweries. B,D
Day 6 - Prague - UK
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
