After settling in at your hotel, the evening is yours to relax and explore.
On day 2, the highlight of your trip is the Amiens Flea Market, which takes place today. Known as "La Foire aux Puces d'Amiens," this famous market attracts thousands of visitors each year and features over 2,000 stalls. Spend the day browsing a variety of items, from vintage clothing and antiques to handcrafted goods and local delicacies.
As you explore the bustling streets of Amiens, you’ll discover hidden treasures and unique finds at every turn. Along with the shopping, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere with street performers, live music, and plenty of local food stalls offering traditional dishes like ficelle picarde and macarons d’Amiens.
For those interested in sightseeing beyond the market, the Jules Verne House, the Saint-Leu district, and the floating gardens of Les Hortillonnages are just a short walk away and provide an excellent opportunity to further explore the history and culture of Amiens.
On day 3, it’s time to depart our hotel but your holiday is not over yet!. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, before we return to Amiens and enjoy a leisurely morning to explore more of the city. Whether you prefer visiting more historical sites, taking a boat ride through the floating gardens, or simply relaxing in a local café, Amiens has something for everyone. We will depart for home in the early afternoon, giving you ample time to reflect on the unique experiences and treasures you’ve gathered during your weekend at the flea market.
