This morning, we enjoy a guided coach tour of Liverpool, learning all there is to know about its history and, of course, its most famous sons, The Beatles.

Included excursion - Chester

We head to the delightful city of Chester, where the fascinating sights span the centuries. We enjoy a walking city tour followed by time at leisure. Wander through the streets of black and white timber-framed buildings and double-height shops or visit the remains of the city’s Roman Amphitheatre. As well as an abundance of historical attractions Chester also has a thriving shopping centre with a host of cafés, restaurants and pubs to tempt you.

Optional - Ormskirk Market and Southport - (£14pp)

Our optional excursion takes us to one of the UK’s most traditional and well-loved outdoor markets at Ormskirk. The pedestrianised streets around the famous Clock Tower come alive with around 100 stalls offering a huge variety of goods. From clothing, cosmetics, stationary, household goods and hardware to fresh local Lancashire products – there’s something here for everyone!

Next, we head to ‘England’s Classic Resort’, Southport. Home to the country’s second longest and oldest pier with classic seaside attractions, and boasting miles of golden sands plus beautiful parks and gardens, it's perfect for a relaxing stroll.
