Chelsea Flower Show
This unmissable horticultural event brings together the best in gardening and horticulture, with beautiful displays showcasing the finest arrangements as well as offering garden workshops and selling equipment to make your garden more beautiful. The show displays both nursery exhibits as well as model gardens which will captivate and inspire you at this truly Royal event.
The flower show itself has been running every year since 1913 with over 500 exhibitors coming to this prestigious event to showcase their ideas. It really is a unique experience to be able to see these displays up close and take in the stunning floral scents that fill the show.
During this horticultural break there is also included free time in the capital during the evening of your arrival.
On day one, Gold Crest also include a short visit to the unique historic destination of Windsor, set by the beautiful River Thames and home to the largest and oldest inhabited Castle in the world.
Day-By-Day
Day 1 - Windsor
Step aboard your comfortable coach, relax and settle back in your seat as we journey towards London and on to Windsor, home to the magnificent Windsor Castle. Enjoy some free time to explore Windsor, browse the shops and perhaps have a bite to eat and drink at one of the local pubs or cafes. We depart Windsor for the short journey to our overnight hotel. Once checked-in, the remainder of your day will be at leisure, allowing you to explore the local area and get settled in. Some might choose to take advantage of the transport network and head into central London for the evening, others will enjoy a meal and a few drinks in one of the local bars and restaurants.
Day 2 - Chelsea Flower Show
On day two, you'll start your day with a hot breakfast at the hotel before heading to the Chelsea Flower Show. As you make your way through the entrance, you'll be greeted by a sea of colourful flowers and plants.
The show is divided into different sections, each showcasing a variety of gardens and floral displays. From traditional English gardens to more modern and minimalist designs, there is something for everyone.
You'll also have the opportunity to attend demonstrations and talks and shop for plants and gardening supplies at the various vendors.
Late afternoon it's time to head back home. Reboard your coach and relax as we return you to your original joining point. This two-day coach trip is the perfect way to experience the World's Greatest Flower Show and enjoy a taste of London.
