The Ship and Castle St, Maws Cornwall

A haven by the harbourside

St Mawes is the epitome of a picture-postcard Cornish fishing village. The Ship and Castle occupies an enviable position beside the harbour and exudes a charming, nautical atmosphere with panoramic views across the beautiful Percuil River. This view can be enjoyed from front-facing bedrooms, the hotel bar and the restaurant.

We have recently made some fantastic interior improvements to enhance an already great experience. A number of bedrooms have been upgraded and you can now soak up the hotel’s glorious panorama whilst relaxing, drinking or dining in fabulous new surroundings. This welcoming hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and is an ideal base for a leisurely holiday in an idyllic part of the country.
